My Story
I was born with a condition called Achromatopsia.
My vision is different from most people because I am fully color-blind,
extremely sensitive to light, and have poor vision.
I see the world in an unusual way.
I was born in Israel to an American father and a Swiss mother, both of whom made Aliyah.
My husband, three children, and I have lived in South Africa and the United States, spending three years in each country as part of my husband's emissary work for the Jewish Agency, bringing Israeli culture to communities there.
People are often surprised to hear that despite my poor vision, I have played basketball, climbed mountains, worked as a financial analyst, and created art
My Light
Bright Darkness is a unique exhibition that delves into the world through my eyes as a legally blind artist. This collection of works explores the intricate relationship between light and darkness, revealing how these elements shape my perception of the world.
Light, to me, is not a source of clarity but a blinding force. Through this exhibition, I invite you to experience how seeing differently can transform your understanding of others.
Join me on this journey to discover a new perspective on vision, perception, and empathy for one another.
